The movie's main aim is to tell the story of Siddharta Gautama, Prince of Kapilavastu, who lived during 6th century B.C. He was born on Vaisakha Poornima. The history of his family - The Ishvaku family was traceable to pre-Ramayana times. Resigning from the life and responsibility of a King, Siddhartha Gautama sought a solution to human misery. Ever in midst of the great Indian religious and spiritual traditions, he noticed what was more needed by people alike - Dharma, Non-violence and so on. He showed a direct path to salvation.
The Buddha's message is the need of mankind at anytime, today or tomorrow. Remembering him as a lone PATH-FINDER should serve our society today and make our life today better by moral and spiritual reassertion.
A film on the life and times of Buddha Gautama, it is hoped, would inspire us in the right direction. Dharmapatha Creations has taken the initiative with the help and guidance of friends to being Buddha back to out memories in a visible presentation.
